Why is my rice vinegar bottle so hard to open?

In cooking up a batch of quinoa today, the recipe called for rice vinegar. Perfect! I have that in my closet. Grab the bottle, open it up, throw some in………wait a second….. why does this cap keep turning and turning? Do I yank it off? Nope. Do I pry it off with a fork? Nope! Turns out you have to hold the bottle part of the yellow cap while turning the top part of the cap. What kind of stupid cap is that? Is it really that difficult to use the standard cap so that we don’t have to Google “How do I open this rice vinegar bottle?”

I realize that I’m blonde, but even blondes should be able to open bottle caps……right?
